EHS Supervisor – Quest Diagnostics
Overview
EHS Supervisor – Cleveland, OH – Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
To lead, manage and support efforts that ensure facilities, equipment, processes, and employee behaviors promote injury reduction and protection of the environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and ensure accurate completion of accident and injury reports.
- Complete root cause analysis and correction of deficiencies contributing to injury,
- Manage input and quality control of data.
- Manage the site’s Workers’ Compensation insurance program.
- Create communications and periodic promotions to foster continuous improvement in EHS processes and outcomes.
- Conduct effective training programs for new employees, annual re-training, function and departmental specific.
- Sustain program to prevent, minimize or control potential risk of new construction, equipment, and processes.
- Manage processes to ensure compliance with EHS government regulations and industry standards, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and others.
- Manage implementation, audit, and recordkeeping responsibilities of EHS SOPs.
- Collaborate with departments effective and sustainable compliance.
- Manage Emergency Response Team preparedness and practice drills.
- Serve as Site Chemical Hygiene Officer
- Serve as Radiation Safety Officer
Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
3-4 years of EHS Experience
Preferred Work Experience:
5 years of EHS Experience or more
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Knowledge:
Manage processes to ensure compliance with requirements from EHS related government regulations and industry standards, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and others.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience as deemed appropriate by the hiring manager
Preferred Education
Chemical, physical, biological, safety, environmental management, or

EH&S Manager – Zanesville, Ohio
Amotec is actively seeking candidates for an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager opportunity. Located near Zanesville, OH our client is poised for substantial growth and opportunities, within this global manufacturing leader. The EH&S Manager will be responsible for creating and supporting all safety functions for a single site with 250+ employees. Responsibilities:
- The EH&S Manager will be a hands-on and interactive professional who will provide a strong presence on the production floor, supporting and communicating with all levels of employees
- Develop and implement all EH&S programs and training
- Support safety initiatives ensuring compliance and achieving accident prevention metrics
- Participate in any corrective actions, incident investigations, compliance inspections and training programs related to EH&S for plant employees
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Science is preferred or related Engineering field
- Strong backbone, knowledgeable of EPA & OSHA regulations, understanding metrics and proficiency with Microsoft Office & Excel
- ASP and/or CSP certification is preferred
- 4+ years of experience supporting EH&S in manufacturing
